From the very humble beginning, of boarding two students, Mr. SibdasChakravarti and Mrs. Jennifer Chakravarti progressed to a large number. Under his management and her tenacity, “Sunshine” School was founded and soon became the most sought after boarding school for junior children in Kurseong. The demand by parents to move into the higher classes saw the birth of a new venture, “ St.Michael’s boarding school” at Siliguri.
