Comedian Raju Srivastava passed away at the age of 58

Comedian Raju Srivastava suffered a heart attack on August 10th. He was on ventilator support at AIIMS Delhi when he passed away on 21st September. Raju Srivastava got a heart attack while working out at the gym and he passed away today 21st September after a long fight. All the family members, including his wife, son, and daughter, are currently at AIIMS.  The whole family will decide first whether to take him to Mumbai or Kanpur for the funeral. 

He had suffered severe brain damage after the cardiac arrest and remained unconscious and under observation at AIIMS in Delhi on August 10. Prime Minister Modi and UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had spoken to the comedian’s wife, Shikha Srivastava, and assured her that they would help her with the treatment. When Raju was working out on the treadmill, he experienced chest pain and then collapsed. His trainer brought him to the AIIMS, Delhi, and he was given CPR twice to resuscitate his heart. 

Raju Srivastava also suffered from immense brain damage as he was in a critical condition and was on ventilator support. He was treated by the AIIMS team doctor of the Cardiology and Emergency Department. Let us tell you that Dr. Nitish Nyay is leading the treatment. According to AIIMS sources, Srivastava suffered a cardiac arrest while working out at the gym, and the comedian was given CPR twice to resuscitate his heart.
